Lovely Experience

I want to let you know how much we all enjoyed our meetings recently held at the Gastonia Conference Center. I worked for a bank for 43 years and went to at least 43 similar conferences in many cities. I must brag on the Gastonia Conference Center, so here are the things we all loved:

• The wait staff were impeccable. They were all very friendly, welcoming and attentive!
• The food was better than any I had in 43 years of going to conferences around North Carolina. In comparison, the food served in Charlotte, Concord or Winston-Salem was OK but substandard institutional fare. It was mainly what we affectionately called "rubber chicken and plastic green beans." Extra thanks must go to the chef for the delicious food. The presentation and set up was some of the best I'd ever experienced. The lines moved quickly and efficiently.
• The bathrooms were extremely clean, and on that score, I am very hard to impress.

I just wanted you to know what a lovely job you all did. It was a wonderful experience all around. Thank you.

Ivy was wonderful to work with! Food was delicious and the venue was perfect for our event. Will definitely be on the top of the list for future fraternity events.

50th Wedding Anniversary

Ivy at the Gaston Conference Center listened to what we wanted and enhanced our anniversary gala to the utmost.

Our Bible fellowship group of approximately 225 people recently held a three-day event here. Everything about our event was handled to perfection. We worked with the director of sales and catering, Ivy Honeycutt. She was extremely accommodating for our specific requests and spent time showing us around their beautiful facility and then helping us design the room set-up and our meal planning.

Each day of our event, the meals were delicious and way beyond our expectations! The buffet was arranged artfully with polished stainless steel chafing dishes, China plates and cloth-wrapped silverware. The wait staff were very nice and attentive, always keeping the food filled and removing our plates promptly as each one finished. There was also plenty of good quality tea and coffee. We highly recommend this conference center and we will definitely return!

Everything was wonderful from working with Lisa & Gerry on the logistics for our annual holiday party to the day of execution. Wait staff were professional and friendly. Food was amazing.

Most people got 2 plates, lol. The space was decorated for the holidays, which added even more to an already nice venue.

Everything was sanitized. I am extremely happy with the end result of hosting our annual holiday party at GCC. It was refreshing and stress free to arrive and not have to worry about venue, food, set up etc. They did a wonderful job.
